About Casey Lepper
I help women who have low-self esteem, who need support through a hard time, who need help fixing bad relationship patterns, who need an advocate. I have seen women feel so low after a divorce or death, or women who feel completely insecure about their health, bodies and relationships. I have also seen these women gain all the confidence and self-acceptance they could ever needed. I want to help you find that empowerment, strength and voice.
I work with couples who need help correcting bad behavior patterns, who want to learn how to effectively communicate, who want to resolve past betrayals. I understand the struggle of dealing with bad relationships; when you know you aren't happy but have no clue how to fix it or when you keep arguing over the same gridlocked issue over and over. Relationships, partnerships, marriages don't have to be exhausting, they don't have to take all the energy out of you. They can be amazing and make both partners feel supported, heard and accepted.
I am a child of divorce, a daughter of an alcoholic. I've had body image issues and have struggled to find my confidence and self-worth. I've been in those relationships that make you feel small, helpless and hopeless. It is because of my experience, that I am so passionate about my counseling work. I have learned first hand that life can get better if you are willing to make a change. You too, can overcome the tough times and start to thrive.
I have been lucky enough to call Austin home for the last 20 years. In my free time, you can find me with my husband and Golden Retriever taking in all that this city has to offer. In addition to counseling, my other passions include fitness, travel and photography.
We can help you begin making the changes you want. Counseling is an amazing process that will help you learn about yourself, your relationships, triggers, desires, fears, patterns of thinking, feeling and acting.
I understand that sharing certain parts of yourself can be difficult. I am here to meet you soul to soul while lending a non judgmental ear. I want to help you uncover and discover new tools to help you live the life you desire.
I use an integrative approach weaving together family systems theories, interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory, positive psychology, emotionally focused couples therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Couples Method.
